ShareConf 2015: arvato Systems Presents Solutions for Enterprise Information Management 01/06/2015, Symposium from June 8 to June 11 in Dusseldorf
At the ShareConf, arvato Systems will present field-tested customer solutions for intelligent information distribution as part of "Smart Enterprise"
Ren H zser, Senior Consultant at arvato Systems, will give two technical lectures at the symposium: "Head off to the cloud - migration experiences" and "SharePoint performance from the viewpoint of a developer"
(arvato Systems) G tersloh - For the first time, arvato Systems will present its service portfolio as an experienced IT system integrator at the ShareConf (Dusseldorf, June 8 to June 11, 2015). The agenda of the renowned symposium for users of Microsoft products, in particular SharePoint and Office 365, comprises expert lectures, best practice reports and practice-oriented workshops. As a Microsoft Gold Partner, arvato Systems boasts many years of extensive experience and expertise with regards to consultation, conception and implementation of sophisticated SharePoint projects in combination with SAP, Dynamics CRM and other large software manufacturers. At the ShareConf, the IT system integrator, which belongs to the Bertelsmann group, will share its knowledge with the participants by means of technical lectures and individual counseling sessions.
Technical lectures: Migration to the cloud and SharePoint performance
Ren H zser, SharePoint expert and Senior Consultant at arvato Systems, will highlight two very different aspects in his two lectures: On Tuesday, June 09, he will talk about specific practical experiences when migrating to the cloud. The lecture is aimed at beginners and covers the following issues: How to migrate services from an on-premise installation to the cloud? What to do with email, SharePoint blogs, Team Foundation Server and backups? Why migrate "to the cloud" at all and what must be taken into consideration?
On Wednesday, June 10, Ren H zser will give a lecture on the subject of "SharePoint performance from the viewpoint of a developer". The target group is developers working with SharePoint who want to obtain more information about the functionality of the platform - e.g. how to improve the overall performance. Among others, aspects such as server object model, search, client script, aggregation, etc., will be discussed.
Live tool shootout: "The big workflow special"
An exciting highlight of the ShareConf is the live on-screen performance "Das gro e Workflow Special" (The big workflow special) on June 09 at 2:00 pm. Four SharePoint experts, among them Karsten Pohnke of arvato Systems, will show the different workflow options in SharePoint using the example of an onboarding process. Within a given time frame, three approaches to a problem will be compared by means of practical tests: K2 blackpearl, Nintex and Microsoft standard workflow.
