Schaeffler setzt gute Gesch ftsentwicklung fort
Umsatz mit rund 8,4 Milliarden Euro auf Vorjahresniveau
Umsatz Automotive +7%, Umsatz Industrie -12%
EBIT-Marge vor Einmalaufwendungen weiter bei rund 13%
Free Cash Flow deutlich auf 589 Millionen Euro verbessert
Der internationale Automobil- und Industriezulieferer Schaeffler hat sich in den ersten neun Monaten dieses Jahres in einem herausfordernden Marktumfeld gut behauptet. Der Umsatz per Ende September lag mit 8,4 Milliarden Euro auf dem Niveau des Vorjahreszeitraums, war allerdings durch negative W hrungseffekte beeinflusst. Ohne W hrungseffekte stieg der Umsatz um rund zwei Prozent. Im Vergleich zum Vorjahresquartal erh hte die Schaeffler Gruppe den Umsatz im dritten Quartal um 1,5 Prozent auf 2,8 Milliarden Euro. Ohne Ber cksichtigung der negativen W hrungseffekte wuchs der Umsatz im dritten Quartal um rund f nf Prozent.
Unser Gesch ft hat sich im dritten Quartal weiter sehr robust entwickelt. Das Automotive-Gesch ft wuchs erneut deutlich st rker als der Markt. Im Industrie-Gesch ft sehen wir eine leichte Stabilisierung, allerdings noch keine Trendwende. Trotz der herausfordernden Rahmenbedingungen konnten wir unsere hohe Profitabilit t halten , sagte der Vorstandsvorsitzende der Schaeffler AG, Klaus Rosenfeld. Die Sparte Automotive steigerte den Umsatz aufgrund von neuen Kundenprojekten und Produktinnovationen erneut deutlich ber dem allgemeinen Markttrend um rund sieben Prozent auf rund 6,1 Milliarden Euro. Die Ums tze der Sparte Industrie sanken angesichts der marktbedingten Unsicherheiten und des anhaltend schwachen Investitionsklimas um rund zw lf Prozent auf 2,3 Milliarden Euro.
Das operative Ergebnis (EBIT) verringerte sich in den ersten neun Monaten 2013 im Vergleich zum Vorjahreszeitraum um 106 Millionen Euro auf 1,0 Milliarden Euro (Vorjahr: 1,1 Milliarden Euro). Der R ckgang liegt vor allem in der negativen Umsatzentwicklung der Sparte Industrie und einmaligen Aufwendungen in H he von 48 Millionen Euro begr ndet, die im Rahmen von Restrukturierungsma nahmen an den Produktionsstandorten Schweinfurt und Wuppertal anfielen. Ziel der Effizienzsteigerungsprogramme ist es, die Kapazit ten an die ver nderte Marktlage anzupassen sowie Organisations- und Kostenstrukturen zu optimieren. Unter Ber cksichtigung der R ckstellungen ergibt sich per Ende September eine EBIT-Marge von 12,3 Prozent. Ohne die Einmalbelastung lag die EBIT-Marge mit 12,9 Prozent unver ndert auf einem hohen Niveau. Das Konzernergebnis stieg im Berichtszeitraum auf 1.020 Millionen Euro (Vorjahr: 729 Millionen Euro).
Der operative Cash Flow konnte um rund 17 Prozent auf 919 Millionen Euro deutlich gesteigert werden (Vorjahr: 783 Millionen Euro). Der Cash Flow aus Investitionst tigkeit belief sich auf 330 Millionen Euro (Vorjahr: 661 Millionen Euro). Auf dieser Basis stieg der Free Cash Flow in den ersten neun Monaten 2013 auf 589 Millionen Euro (Vorjahr: 122 Millionen Euro).
Die Netto-Finanzschulden verringerten sich zum Ende der ersten drei Quartale gegen ber dem 31. Dezember 2012 um 1,1 Milliarden Euro auf rund 5,7 Milliarden Euro. Mittels einer Sondertilgung aus frei verf gbaren Mitteln und Erl sen aus dem Verkauf von rund zwei Prozent der gehaltenen Aktien an der Continental AG konnte die Verschuldung der Schaeffler Gruppe im dritten Quartal erneut deutlich reduziert werden. Dementsprechend ging der Verschuldungsgrad (Verh ltnis der Nettoverschuldung zum EBITDA der letzten zw lf Monate) per 30. September 2013 auf 2,8 (31. Dezember 2012: 3,2) zur ck.
Ausblick Gesamtjahr 2013
In der Sparte Automotive geht die Schaeffler Gruppe weiterhin von einer Umsatzentwicklung deutlich ber dem Marktwachstum aus. Im Industrieg terbereich ist die noch zur Mitte des Jahres erwartete Markterholung nicht eingetroffen. Eine Nachfrageerholung im Maschinen- und Anlagenbau ist insbesondere in Europa und der Region Asien/Pazifik auch im vierten Quartal 2013 noch nicht zu erwarten. Wir rechnen in der Sparte Automotive f r das Gesamtjahr 2013 mit einem Wachstum auf dem hohen Niveau der ersten neun Monate. Bei der Sparte Industrie erwarten wir eine weitere Stabilisierung des Umsatzniveaus zum Jahresende , sagte Rosenfeld.
Auf dieser Basis erwartet die Schaeffler Gruppe f r das Gesamtjahr 2013 ein operatives Umsatzwachstum von rund ein bis zwei Prozent gegen ber dem Vorjahr. Einschlie lich der W hrungseffekte rechnet das Unternehmen mit einem Umsatz auf Vorjahresniveau.
Aufgrund der stabilen Ergebnissituation in der Sparte Automotive geht das Unternehmen trotz der anhaltenden Schw che im Industrieg termarkt weiter davon aus, im Jahr 2013 - vor Ber cksichtigung der einmaligen Aufwendungen f r die Restrukturierungsprojekte - eine operative Ergebnis-Marge (EBIT-Marge) von rund 13 Prozent zu erwirtschaften und damit den Jahreszielwert zu erreichen.
