A proven alternative to the traditional film festivals, Energa Camerimage, continues to be a unique event. Dedicated to the art of cinematography, the festival celebrates its 27th anniversary in Toru , Poland, this year with screenings, seminars, discussions, and much more running from November 9 to 16. Once again, ARRI is looking forward to attending and supporting this one-of-a-kind international film festival. ARRI and ARRI Rental are showcasing their latest camera products and services at the festival center. Highlights include ALEXA Mini LF, ALEXA 65, ARRI Signature Prime lenses, and camera stabilizer TRINITY. ARRI Rental's DNA lenses are also featured, including three new, uncoated, prototype DNA LF X lenses.
ARRI's Big Screen Experience welcomes DP Ken Seng, 1st AC Adam Coles, and gaffer Brian Bartolini of Terminator: Dark Fate to a live panel discussion followed by an exclusive screening of the film. The ARRI Academy Master Class, led by cinematographer Julio Macat ASC and assisted by TRINITY operator Charlie Rizek, DIT Arthur To, and 1st AC E. Gunnar Mortensen, focuses on large-format capture. Directors UK and ARRI are presenting and discussing six single-shot short films.
Additionally, the ARRI Academy is hosting two seminars. Florian Rettich, a senior trainer & consultant for digital workflow solutions at ARRI, will lead one seminar on the connectivity of modern tools on set and in production. The other seminar will present a deep dive into the ARRI Signature Prime with ARRI camera lens specialist and veteran director of photography, Art Adams. Again in 2019, ARRI is supporting a panel discussion, led by cinematographer Oliver Stapleton BSC and including other renowned DPs such as Dick Pope BSC, Caleb Deschanel ASC, Kate Reid BSC, and others, titled Any Questions, where selected audience members have the chance to pose their questions. Furthermore, ARRI is hosting networking events that are by invitation only.

Connectivity is a major topic on film sets. With the wealth of tools and technology now available to filmmakers, the future challenge will most likely be how to connect it all optimally. Join us for this first-hand seminar and learn about the myriad options for greater camera synergy on set.
In this ARRI Academy seminar, in collaboration with ARRI partners, attendees will learn how to: Control your ARRI camera with a web browser; work with 3rd party apps that connect with ARRI cameras and see them in action; use and manipulate creative looks in the camera in real time; transport and preview your creative choices from location to editorial in SDR and HDR; exchange and collect valuable meta data by connecting the camera with script and continuity information tools.

From their warm, smooth skin tones to their soft bokeh and delicate flares, the ARRI Signature Prime lenses offer a unique, timeless look never seen before in cinema. ARRI Camera Lens Specialist and veteran director of photography, Art Adams, leads this seminar, providing the audience with a deeper knowledge of ARRI Signature Prime lenses while demonstrating their implementation with the new ALEXA mini LF and ALEXA LF cameras.
In addition to the ARRI Signature Prime lenses, ARRI's large-format camera family will also be used in the demonstrations. The aim of the workshop is to create the technical basis for a creative use of the new technologies. This workshop is aimed at experienced filmmakers as well as beginners who want to immerse themselves in the world of large-format productions.

The new Terminator film, released this month, was directed by Tim Miller and shot by Ken Seng, who previously worked together on Deadpool. With the involvement of key creatives from the original Terminator movie-James Cameron, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Linda Hamilton- Dark Fate takes the franchise back to its roots.
Join ARRI for a discussion with the driving forces of the camera and lighting team about their work on the film. As well as detailed case studies of specific scenes, the panel will explore the whole experience of scaling up for such an epic project, on an emotional and human level.
