DIMETIS COMPLETES SUCCESSFUL DIGITAL AUDIO BROADCASTING (DAB+) ENSEMBLE CENTER PROJECT FOR RUNDFUNKANSTALT S DTIROL

DIETZENBACH, GERMANY, September 11, 2017 - Dimetis (www.dimetis.com), a leading software developer of automation and orchestration solutions for broadcasters and traditional telecommunications service providers, today announced the successful creation of Rundfunkanstalt S dtirol's (RAS) new DAB+ Ensemble Center.

The Dimetis BOSS BROADCAST ManagerTM software solution has been installed and utilized for many years for monitoring and controlling the Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB) playout at RAS. After integrating the BOSS BROADCAST Manager solution for the new DAB+ Playout, RAS has realized significant savings in their capital requirements and has reduced their operational expenditures (CapEx and OpEx).

Dimetis BOSS Broadcast Manager is an easy-to-use, comprehensive management software platform for monitoring, configuration, and control of streaming facilities, multiplex centers, IPTV, Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB) and Advanced Television Systems (ATSC/HDTV). Dimetis managed this project as the general contractor and delivered a complete operational turnkey solution including planning, procurement of the required devices, engineering, configuration, installation, and testing.

In our Region S dtirol, we are completely committed to this new technology. By the end of the year we will start the shutdown process of the old FM transmitters.
