BTTI UPS CHIEF CREATIVE OFFICER CIPRIANO TO MANAGING DIRECTOR AT AMBRA BANIJAY ITALY

Filippo Cipriano has been appointed Managing Director at Ambra Banijay Italy, it was announced today by Marco Bassetti, CEO Banijay Group. Cipriano is currently Chief Creative Officer of Banijay Group's successful Italian company.

Marco Bassetti commented, I'm very pleased that Filippo has accepted this important new position. I believe that by appointing a creative in an executive role we will strengthen our company through the development of new projects, increasing our ability to offer innovative formats to traditional broadcasters and new platforms. This move is part of Banijay Group's new strategic plan and involves all our local companies.

Ambra Banijay Italia, founded in 2012, is a production company producing entertainment programs and is active in development and distribution of TV formats. Ambra subsidiaries are involved in scripted productions, fiction and TV series, as well formats for digital and satellite networks. In 2013 Ambra became part of the Banijay Group, one of the leading independent TV content producers. Recent productions include two primetime shows to be broadcast by RAI Uno in the next few weeks: Senza Parole, an emotainment show hosted by Antonella Clerici, on air on Saturday night, and the second season of Si Pu Fare (I Can Do That!), a talent/celebrity show run by Carlo Conti.

Filippo Cipriano added, I am grateful to both Marco and Banijay for the appointment and the trust they have put in me. I firmly believe in this project and in the ambitious goals the Group wants to achieve with a clear strategy driven by strong innovation. The new role is a great personal and professional challenge for me and one I simply couldn't refuse.
