Viewers of the educational soapie Skeem Saam were surprised this week when Sgt Babebeile suspected his colleague Sgt Rathebe (Mathews Manamela), may be responsible for Alfios' death.

WHY BABEILE SUSPECTS RATHEBE MIGHT BE THE SERIAL KILLER Babeile first suspected Sgt Rathebe (Gontse Ntshegang) of being a serial killer in Turfloop when he learned that people started getting killed in Turfloop after she arrived.

The fan-favourite police officer who's been with the show for nearly a decade also realised that all the people that recently got killed are men.

He also suspected her as she didn't seem bothered by Alfios' death and the fact that he died in jail.

Fans of the SABC1 soapie are thrilled by his discovery as they disliked Rathebe since she arrived at Turfloop Police Station and had suspected something was off about her.
