AMERICAN NETWORK NBC TO TRANSMIT TALPAS THE WINNER IS...
The Winner Is... is heading to America. The singing game show where participants must be able to sing well but also be able to negotiate, aired on SBS6 in The Netherlands earlier this year. Last Friday ProSiebenSat.1 transmitted the final of the German version, presented by Linda de Mol. In the United States, its once again NBC, the network that airs The Voice, which has inked a deal for the show, also developed by Talpas John de Mol.
Participants on the American version of The Winner Is... stride for a grand prize of US$1 million. This show again features talented vocalists of all ages: there are male and female soloists, kids, teens, groups, seniors, families and professionals. Their performances are judged by a studio panel, which is headed up by a well-known industry expert. But participants are able to avoid an uncertain result by negotiating against their opponents about leaving the show in exchange for cash. Whoever continues to sing unrivaled and manages to negotiate well right up to the final will be in the running for the grand prize.
