NAB 2026: Encompass Digital Media and Techex Launch Cloud-Based Master Control Service for Live Events

Encompass Digital Media and Techex have announced a cloud-native Master Control service for live sports and entertainment broadcasting. The service integrates Encompass's Altitude Media Cloud platform with Techex's tx darwin content transformation technology and Densitron user interface and control capabilities. It will be showcased at NAB Show 2026.

The service, branded Altitude Events, manages the full chain of live event delivery, including signal acquisition, dynamic branding, standards conversion, content and ad insertion, monetization triggering, and encoding and distribution. Workflows can be initiated at the start of an event and removed once coverage is complete.

This partnership addresses one of the broadcast industry's most persistent operational challenges, which is the complexity and cost of delivering live events at scale, says Keir Shepherd, Chief Solutions Officer, Encompass. By integrating Encompass' operational expertise with Techex's workflow technology, we are making it far easier to deliver live events reliably and at scale in a managed cloud environment that simplifies live event operations and allows workflows to be deployed quickly when new opportunities arise.
