Utah Scientific Announces Sales Territory Modifications

Salt Lake City - June 21 , 2018 - Utah Scientific announced today the appointment of Robert Pennington as Northeast regional sales manager. Effective immediately, Pennington will take charge of all direct sales throughout the region covering Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, Connecticut, New York, Rhode Island, Maryland, Washington D.C., Delaware, Massachusetts, Ontario, Quebec and other Eastern Canadian provinces. Chris Harmon, director of international sales will also assume responsibility for the Midwest sales territory covering the five states Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia.

Utah Scientific is an outstanding company with a reputation for quality, superior service and innovation stated Pennington. I'm excited to join the company and plan on continuing to serve our Northeast customers with the care and professionalism they have come to expect. Prior to joining Utah Scientific, Pennington served as the national sales manager for IDK America where he created pricing and sales strategy for digital AV switching products.

Pennington brings a wealth of sales experience and industry knowledge to Utah Scientific. He will report directly to Brett Benson, vice president of strategic accounts. We are looking forward to welcoming Bob to the team said Benson as a member of SMPTE with a strong background in video equipment, successful project management, and business development he is exactly what we were looking for to manage key accounts in the Northeast.

The regions Bob and Chris are covering were previously one territory, the decision to split the region into two will better serve our many clients stated Dave Burland, president and CEO.
