Riedel Communications Named Official Connectivity Integration Provider for Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games

Riedel Communications has announced it will serve as Official Connectivity Integration Provider and Official Partner for Team Scotland at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, taking place July 23-August 2. Riedel will design, install, and integrate a connectivity and communications ecosystem across the Games as part of its Managed Technology offering.

For the first time at the Commonwealth Games, Riedel will implement its Glasgow 2026 Games Integrated Network (GIN), powered by its DIVA+ solution. DIVA+ unifies fiber-based infrastructure, wireless Easy5G extensions, and centralized orchestration into a single IP-based network supporting communications, audio-visual signals, and data transfer. Riedel will also provide a unified intercom and radio communications system across all competition venues and operational sites.

Riedel will link venues via a Wide Area Network for transmission of live broadcast images to the Broadcast Operations Center, where Broadcast Rights Holders will access content for global distribution. Venue LANs will deliver connectivity and Wi-Fi across operational sites.

Riedel previously provided radio communications networks for the Birmingham 2022 and Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, and managed the venue intercom project for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.
