12-07-2012 Graphite Materials for Intelligent Construction SGL Group Wins Selected Landmark of 2012 Award Award for ECOPHIT in the 365 Landmarks in the Land of Ideas competition
Bamberg/Meitingen, December 7, 2012. SGL Group The Carbon Company was today presented with a Selected Landmark of 2012 award for its ECOPHIT graphite construction materials in the Germany-wide competition 365 Landmarks in the Land of Ideas. Mr Mohamed Alami accepted the award on behalf of SGL Group.

365 Landmarks in the Land of Ideas is a competition run by the Germany Land of Ideas initiative a joint place-branding initiative encompassing both politics and business. Since 2006, the 365 Landmarks in the Land of Ideas competition, organized in cooperation with Deutsche Bank, has given Selected Landmark awards to forward-looking ideas and projects that make the creative versatility and innovative power of Germany visible and alive.
