SAN FRANCISCO, CA May 20, 2015 Akamai Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: AKAM), the global leader in Content Delivery Network (CDN) services, today announced that it will offer complementary CDN services to any Internet of Things (IoT) or wearable tech startups that are participants of the Wearable World Labs program.
Wearable World Congress, taking place May 19-20 at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, brings together business leaders and companies that are forging the future of the wearable and Internet of Things revolution. Akamai Vice President of Marketing in EMEA, John Dillon, will be part of a panel today entitled Connecting the Internet of Things. Akamai will announce its role in supporting startup ventures and early adopters that are also members of the Wearable World Community.
