On-the-go shooting made easy with Miller s Air Tripods --

The new Air Tripod System range from Miller Camera Support Equipment has launched in the US, offering fledgling and seasoned cinematographers or photographers a light and versatile solution to on-the-go filming. Miller creates, manufactures and supplies fluid heads and tripods to professionals in the film and television industry.
The range includes the Air Alloy System (3001) and Air Carbon Fibre System (3005), with each comprising of an Air Fluid Head, which offers users smooth head pan and tilt technology, and a variation of the Solo 75 2-Stage Tripod.
Gus Harilaou, Miller Camera Support Regional Manager for the Americas said, The Air Tripod Systems offer professional DSLR and HDV photo-videographers a robust, lightweight, cost-effective solution. Designed to reflect the same premium qualities of Miller s Compass Tripod System, the Air Tripod System is purpose-built for professionals who desire a compact, lighter and more agile camera support solution with the same unwavering durability that is standard of Miller tripods.
The systems are efficient, adjustable and tough enough to deal with harsh outdoor conditions and both are able to support payloads ranging from 2.5 to 5kg.
The Air Alloy System (3001) boasts an impressive range and can extend from 234mm to 1625mm. The tripod caters to a cinematographer in action by employing a robust alloy magnesium design, gripping Neoprene leg protection and a new quick lock system which allows users to lock or unlock using less than one quarter of a turn. The Air Carbon Fibre System (3005) provides the same user benefits as the Air Alloy System (3001) but is 0.4kg lighter and equally durable.
