Wedit visits UK's epicenter of media companies

The brand new Web Video Editor that has been introduced by VSN throughout this year, will be one of the main attractions of UK's Media City, based in Manchester, on the 26th of October within the framework of IABM's Design & Innovation Event. After being at the center stage of NAB Show Las Vegas, IBC Amsterdam and finalist of the IABM Awards 2017, Wedit will make its first appearance in the United Kingdom hub for the Broadcast and Media & Entertainment industries: UK's Media City. In this conglomerate of media companies that ranges from broadcasters to production companies, everyone will be invited to stop by this event at Dock 10, UK's leading Television Facility.

Wedit, the smart and quick solution to edit videos simply using a web browser, and tightly integrated with VSNExplorer, allows cut editing in low-resolution, generate editing lists from segments and perform frame-accurate mark in and out. It also includes a timeline where both video and audio content can be easily dragged, as well as adding voice over on top of these tracks for a holistic editing experience.

Assets are a search away and these can be located anywhere, from a near-line storage to the cloud or in an LTO, the background system will do the magic to put it all together once the editing is finished. Similarly, the generation of keyframes through automatic detection of scene changes allows a quicker location of assets and cuts. It is the perfect product for teams that want to work collaboratively, and put together news production at top speed.
