El prestigioso Festival Internacional de Cine de Mar del Plata, nico latinoamericano de clase A, ha acogido este jueves la presentaci n de la vig sima edici n del Festival de Cine Espa ol de M laga.
En este acto han participado Ralph Haiek, Vicepresidente del INCAA (Instituto Nacional de Cine y Artes Audiovisuales de Argentina); R mulo Pullol, Gerente de Relaciones Institucionales del INCAA; Jos Mart nez Su rez, Presidente del Festival Internacional de Cine de Mar del Plata; Juan Antonio Vigar, Director del Festival de M laga; y Germ n Mori, en representaci n de FAPAE (Confederaci n de Productores Audiovisuales Espa oles).
Tras las palabras institucionales de bienvenida, el director del Festival de M laga ha agradecido al Festival de Mar del Plata su generosidad para hacer posible esta presentaci n dentro de su 31 edici n. A continuaci n, ha hecho un resumen de los datos m s significativos de la pasada edici n del certamen malague o, que lo han situado entre los m s importantes del mbito europeo, indicando que en la 20 edici n, que se celebrar del 17 al 26 de marzo de 2017, el Festival de M laga avanza y se proyecta a n m s hacia lo iberoamericano, incluyendo las pel culas que hasta ahora formaban la secci n Territorio Latinoamericano dentro de su Secci n Oficial a competici n.
De este modo, se evoluciona en la idea de un festival de cine en espa ol', entendida esta expresi n como un espacio de confluencia cultural no solo en cuanto a geograf a y producci n, sino tambi n ahora en lo relativo al idioma, acogiendo las pel culas de otras cinematograf as habladas en espa ol, lo que incluye a todos los pa ses de Iberoam rica y a aquellos otros que cuentan con una ampl sima comunidad latina. Por lo tanto, el Festival de M laga a partir de su 20 edici n alcanza una identidad mejorada y fortalecida, lo que le ayudar a dar impulso y desarrollo al cine iberoamericano.
Focus M laga
En dicho acto se ha informado asimismo de que, como muestra de las pel culas ganadoras de la pasada edici n del festival malague o, la 31 edici n del Festival Internacional de Cine de Mar del Plata acoge un Focus M laga donde se proyectar n tres t tulos: Callback, de Carles Torras, pel cula ganadora de la Biznaga de Oro 2016, junto al documental Socotra, la isla de los genios, de Jordi Esteva, y el cortometraje I may not be removed, de Laura Jou, ganador de la Biznaga de Plata al Mejor Cortometraje de Ficci n.
Pero el Festival de M laga no solo avanza en el abrazo al mundo iberoamericano sino tambi n en su posicionamiento como evento de referencia para el sector audiovisual en el apartado de Industria. Por ello, la 20 edici n vuelve a recuperar su rea de Mercados. M laga vuelve a reunir la promoci n junto a la venta internacional.
En este sentido, Germ n Mori, en representaci n de FAPAE, ha comentado que los Spanish Screenings - M laga de Cine se celebrar n durante los d as 20, 21 y 22 de marzo de 2017, ofreciendo a los compradores presentes una selecci n de largometrajes producidos en los meses previos a la celebraci n de este evento y que suponen lo m s representativo de la industria cinematogr fica en espa ol.
