EA Sports is set to release their new football video game, FIFA 23, on Monday 26 September. According to Goal, the game will feature a few firsts including the addition of South Africa's Mamelodi Sundowns, which will be the only African team on FIFA 23. SA hip-hop star The Big Hash is the only Mzansi artist featured on the game's soundtrack.

In 2021, Moonchild Sanelly was the only local artist featured on FIFA 22.

THE BIG HASH FEATURED ON FIFA 23 SOUNDTRACK Tshegetso Reabetswe Kungwane, better known as The Big Hash, rose to popularity in 2019 following the release of his breakout single Circles. Since then, the 22-year-old has collaborated with the likes of A-Reece, Flame, Tshego and the late Riky Rick.

The soundtrack for the highly-anticipated FIFA 23 video game was announced on Thursday 22 September and The Big Hash is one of many international artists who are featured. The South African rapper joins the likes of J Balvin, Jack Harlow, Gorillaz and Ang lique Kidjo who are also featured on the soundtrack.

His collaboration with French muso James BKS, High Level, will be featured on FIFA 23.

MOONCHILD SANELLEY'S FEATURE ON FIFA 22 In 2021, Moonchild Sanelly was the only South African artist featured on FIFA 22. Speaking to Drum, she said the feature had been in the works for some time.
