The Rhythm World Production upcoming telenovela My Brother's Keeper will premiere on Mzansi Magic from Monday, 23 October when Gomora ends.

WHO STARS IN UPCOMING MZANSI MAGIC TELENOVELA? Mzansi Magic has confirmed that actors Wiseman Mncube, Zola Nombona, Sdumo Mtshali, Lindani Nkosi and more actors have joined My Brother's Keeper.

TVSA reports that the upcoming show centres round Nqubeko Shabalala (played by Wiseman Mncube) who isn't in love with his situation. The upcoming telenovela will also focus on the traditional custom of Ukungena.

The publication adds that former Smoke and Mirrors and Isidingo actor Lindani Nkosi will play Mshengu Shabalala, a dominant father who establishes his authority with a mix of savvy and confidence.

Imbewu: The Seed and Skeem Saam actress Vuyiseka Cawe will play Wiseman Mncube's on-screen wife Nomusa Shabalala, who is supportive of her husband.

Adulting and Outlaws actor Mnqobi Kunene will play the role of Khwezi Shabalala, who is the first-born son to Mshengu and MaMchunu (played by Hlengiwe Lushaba).

Former Generations: The Legacy actress Zola Nombona will play Khwezi's widow, Fakazile Shabalala who is and strong independent woman.

The Estate and Isibaya star Sdumo Mtshali portrays the character of Donga Shabalala, who is Mshengu's (Lindani Nkosi) first born with his first wife.

The show is produced by Rhythm World Production which produced Komkhulu and currently produces hit telenovela Umkhokha: The Curse, which also airs on Mzansi Magic.

BACKGROUND OF MY BROTHER'S KEEPER' DStv reports that actors Uzalo star Nelisa Mchunu, The Estate star Sparky Xulu, Imbewu and Umkhokha star Nkanyiso Mchunu, as well as Scandal! star Rosemary Zimu have also scored roles in My Brother's Keeper.

The Rhythm World produced show tells the tale of a family drawn into a deadly succession battle of its own making.
