Patrick Kelly Elevated to Executive Vice President of

Business Affairs for TBS and TNT

Patrick Kelly has been promoted to executive vice president of business affairs for TBS & TNT. He is based in Los Angeles and reports to Sandra Dewey, president of TNT and TBS Productions and business affairs for Turner Broadcasting System, Inc.

As head of the business affairs unit for TBS and TNT, Kelly oversees the day-to-day deal making behind the brands original programming. He also oversees co-productions between the two networks and Turner International, as well as international distribution and worldwide home video of TBS and TNTs wholly owned programming. As TBS and TNT continue to expand their original programming slates for both linear and digital platforms, Kelly works closely with Dewey to formulate the business plans and strategy for the networks in-house studios. He is also a member of TBS and TNTs senior executive team, with day-to-day oversight of the original programming group.

Kelly has been with Turner Entertainments business affairs department since 2002. He has handled business affairs for all original entertainment productions for TNT and TBS, including the hit TNT dramas The Last Ship, Falling Skies; TNTs upcoming The Alienist and TBSs upcoming Angie Tribeca, The Detour and Wrecked. He has also supervised business affairs for such unscripted series as TNTs Cold Justice and Cold Justice: Sex Crimes, as well as TBSs new series Funny Or Die Presents Americas Next Weatherman.

In addition to his series work, Kelly has also handled business affairs for such specials as the upcoming iHeart Radio Music Awards and the AFI Life Achievement Award specials. More recently, he has become heavily involved in new media and advertiser-sponsored initiatives related to TNT and TBS original programming, including the new Neighborhood Sessions concert series with State Farm.

Prior to joining Turner in 2002, Kelly was vice president, business affairs, at Columbia TriStar Television (now Sony Pictures Television). He is a graduate of Amherst College and Harvard Law School.
