The second season of That Station's Artist Notes Concert Series concludes tonight, Thursday, November 2, 2023, with Django Haskins of The Old Ceremony. The event wraps a four-week line up of North Carolina artists featured not only to play music, but also share what went into creating their songs.
Artist Notes is a unique series where Music Curator Chris Edge sits down with the artist as they perform and interviews them live onstage between songs! It's truly an experience you don't want to miss. Edge guides the concert through the ups and downs of our featured artists' career and the stories behind their songs.
The fun takes place on the Centennial Campus of NC State at The Corner, a great outdoor community space.
The event is free to the public with doors at 5 pm and performance starting at 6 pm. Parking is free, and beach chairs are allowed. There will be food trucks onsite. Beer from Trophy Brewing will also be available and proceeds will benefit The SIMS Foundation, providing mental health and substance abuse treatments to artists, music industry personnel, and their dependent family members.
