Turner Broadcasting Announces Stephano Kim as...

Stephano Kim has been named senior vice president, Ad Operations and Chief Data Strategist for Turner Broadcasting System's Ad Sales division. Based in New York, Kim will report to Lenny Daniels, president of Turner Sports.

Leading this newly-developed group, Kim will utilize data insights to connect consumers with premium branded content while delivering quality, high-value audiences to brand marketers. He and his team will look to enhance opportunities for clients and agencies to transact with Turner in new ways that optimize their integrated marketing campaigns and drive audience growth for Turner's brands through more effective marketing and programming decisions.

We are excited to have someone with Stephano's background and experience join our company and take on this important role, said Daniels. Stephano will help expand our company's data infrastructure and capabilities that will help further grow revenue and consumer insights across our company. His professional experience is diverse and will bring a different perspective to this important new role within our company.

Prior to joining Turner and for the past decade, Kim has been working with early stage data and technology companies as an advisor, investor, and operator. He has built and scaled e-commerce marketplaces, digital marketing and ad technology platforms, consumer databases, and cross channel CRM platforms. He has also advises several venture capital and private equity funds as an operating advisor, while overseeing Springhouse Capital, a private seed-stage angel fund that has made investments in almost two dozen early stage companies.

Kim received his bachelor's degree from Cornell University, where he serves on the University Council, and a master's degree in business administration, with honors, from Columbia Business School.
