Getting the Shot at Monster Energy AMA Supercro

Each week, the GoPro Motorsports channel publishes race footage from the Monster Energy AMA Supercross series, and round after round, former racer and GoPro guru Jarred Browne is there to capture it all, mounting cameras, ingesting footage, and cutting laps.

If the name sounds familiar, that is because Jarred "Jet" Browne used to line up on those same gates at Supercross. The Nuevo, California native first lined up for his first pro race at Glen Helen in 2008, and he steadily gained traction in the professional ranks. Growing up in motocross family, Browne made frequent trips out to the desert to ride. But it was a trip past a local track-Starwest MX Park-that sparked his interest in racing. He saw kids out there battling, and instantly told himself, I want to do that.

And although injuries plagued much of his career, he still put together some great performances both in the outdoor motocross championship and the AMA supercross series. In 2013, however, a head injury forced Browne into retirement, and he now just rides for fun (although he is still super fast).

Now, GoPro is proud to have a seasoned racer at Supercross making sure his brethren score a bunch of cool content. He is a great videographer himself, and now quite the editor behind the keyboard.

Take a look behind the scenes, and see how Jarred makes sure the rest of us have onboard content to see from every round of Supercross. You may even catch some tips as he goes over his work flow and the settings he uses for Moto.
