Our conference in the sun

Picture a typical company conference and sitting in the sunshine with a cold drink surrounded by your work mates might not immediately spring to mind. But that's exactly what happened last weekend

Team ICG jetted off to Fuengirola on the Costa Del Sol, Spain, for the first get-together of our 30th year anniversary celebrations.

Not one to follow the crowd, ICG's annual company conference focuses on team spirit, wellbeing and downtime as well as starting off the new year in a super positive way.

Keep on running

Beth, Liam, Julie, Sam and Simon kicked off the weekend in style, taking part in the 5km run around the streets of Torremolinos. Our Sam came in top of the leaderboard in the adult male category!

The run was a highlight for Julie, our Account Director, especially followed by caf con leche and pastries for a post-run pick-me-up!

Running the 5k Torremolinos with the guys was great fun - a lovely shared experience despite the hills. said Julie.

And if that wasn't enough exercise for one weekend, Sam and Simon did it all again on the Sunday, but this time it was 21km, a half marathon. They both finished sub 1 hour 30 mins - very impressive.

Sunshine state of mind

We all know what a bit of sunshine can do for our wellbeing, so the chance for vitamin D boost while catching up with colleagues was just the ticket.

It might sound cliche, but with busy work and personal lives the ICG weekend away really offers the chance to catch up, laugh loads and have a fun-filled 72 hours!
