Agrupar los servicios de telecomunicaciones en un nico operador se consolida como tendencia: en el segundo trimestre de 2017 se registraron 11,4 millones de paquetes convergentes con cuatro o m s servicios, 1 mill n m s que hace un a o, seg n los datos estad sticos de la Comisi n Nacional de los Mercados y la Competencia (CNMC).
Adem s, el paquete qu ntuple (que incluye telefon a fija y m vil, banda ancha fija y m vil y televisi n de pago) super los 5 millones y sum en el ltimo a o casi 700 mil altas netas.
Los paquetes dobles de telefon a m s banda ancha fija y los triples -que incluyen tambi n la televisi n de pago , continuaron su tendencia a la baja como en periodos anteriores.
El parque de abonados de televisi n de pago aument este trimestre (un 4,7% en tasa interanual) hasta registrar 6,1 millones, aunque su ritmo de crecimiento se ralentiz respecto a trimestres anteriores. La televisi n IP y la de cable sumaron en conjunto 400.000 abonados nuevos en el ltimo a o, en contraposici n al descenso de 172.000 abonados registrado por la de sat lite.
Accesos NGAThe accesos instalados NGA o de acceso a redes de nueva generaci n (que permite conexiones de muy alta velocidad) registraron una tasa de crecimiento anual del 16% y superaron los 44 millones en junio de 2017. De estos, m s de 33 millones correspondieron a fibra hasta el hogar (FTTH) frente a los 27 millones desplegados en el segundo trimestre de 2016. Por su parte, los accesos con tecnolog a DOCSIS 3.0 contin an en torno a los 10 millones, con un ritmo de crecimiento muy discreto.
Los accesos NGA sobre los que se presta alg n servicio supusieron 8,8 millones, un 22% m s que hace un a o. Los que m s crecieron fueron los de fibra hasta el hogar (FTTH), que sumaron 1,6 millones de accesos nuevos en un a o hasta alcanzar la cifra de 5,7 millones.
En junio de 2017, de un parque total de 14,2 millones de conexiones de banda ancha fija, las que ten an una velocidad contratada de 30 Mbps o superior fueron 8,5 millones, lo que representa 1,9 millones m s que en el mismo mes de 2016. De esta forma, casi seis de cada diez l neas de banda ancha fija ten an una velocidad igual o superior a 30 Mbps. En concreto, de estos 8,5 millones de l neas con una velocidad superior o igual a 30 Mbps, el 43,8% ten a una velocidad contratada de 100 Mbps o m s.
En la evoluci n de las l neas de banda ancha fija por tecnolog a continu el ascenso de l neas FTTH frente al progresivo descenso de las conexiones xDSL: en junio de 2017 ambas tecnolog as registraron 5,7 millones de l neas.
En el ltimo a o se sumaron 1,6 millones de l neas nuevas de fibra frente a una p rdida de 1,2 millones con tecnolog a xDSL, mientras que las l neas HFC crecieron un 3,2%.
En junio de 2017, el volumen total de l neas m viles que se conectaron a Internet, incluyendo las l neas exclusivas de datos, creci un 7,3% interanual hasta los 43,1 millones. El motivo fue el aumento de las l neas de voz vinculadas a banda ancha m vil, que sumaron 2,9 millones de l neas en el ltimo a o, hasta alcanzar los 41,4 millones, mientras que el parque de datacards se mantuvo en 1,7 millones.
Ingresos servicios minoristasLos ingresos de los servicios minoristas alcanzaron los 6.229 millones de euros, un 0,8% respecto a los del mismo periodo de 2016. Los servicios de banda ancha, tanto fija como m vil, crecieron compensando las ca das de los ingresos de voz y continuaron en ascenso los servicios audiovisuales, con un 4,1% m s de facturaci n en tasa interanual.
Por operadores, los ingresos minoristas de Movistar y Vodafone fueron muy similares a los del segundo trimestre de 2016 y mantuvieron sus cuotas de mercado en torno al 41% y 18% respectivamente, mientras que Orange factur a sus clientes finales un 7,4% en tasa interanual y su contribuci n fue del 18%, un punto porcentual m s que hace un a o. Los tres principales operadores de telecomunicaciones coparon el 78,4% de los ingresos minoristas del sector, porcentaje pr cticamente igual al del a o anterior.
El grupo Masm vil, que integra Mas M vil, Yoigo, Pepephone, Xtra Telecom (desde el cuarto trimestre de 2016) y el OMV LlamaYA (desde el primer trimestre de 2017), represent el 4,4% de los ingresos minoristas de este trimestre.
