Canon held in 2017, thirty years after the launch of its EOS system The Canon EOS system made its debut in March 1987 with the launch of the EOS 650 SLR camera and various EF lenses. Thirty years later, this technology is present in 24 cameras and about a hundred EF lenses.
In March 2017, Canon will celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of the launch of its EOS System, consisting of all interchangeable lens cameras EOS Series and a wide range of accessories, starting with EF interchangeable lenses.
El sistema EOS de Canon hizo su debut en marzo de 1987, con el lanzamiento de la c mara r flex EOS 650 y varios objetivos EF. EOS es el acr nimo de Electro Optical System (Sistema Electro ptico) y es tambi n, muy apropiadamente, el nombre de la diosa griega del amanecer. La Serie EOS fue el primer sistema del mundo de montura totalmente electr nica, algo que ahora es habitual en todas las c maras y fabricantes.
Todos los componentes principales de la c mara utilizados en el sistema EOS (sensor CMOS, procesador de la imagen y objetivos intercambiables) estaban desarrollados directamente por Canon, lo que significaba que Canon controla cada fase del procesamiento de la imagen, desde la captura a la salida. The EOS System, which now also includes the Cinema EOS system, currently has 24 cameras and a wide selection of 97 EF lenses.
