Fujifilm continues to expand comprehensive enterprise imaging solution at RSNA 2016

FUJIFILM Medical Systems U.S.A., Inc., a leading provider of diagnostic imaging products and medical informatics solutions, will showcase its evolving Enterprise Imaging portfolio of Synapse integrated solutions and spotlight enhanced features and next generation upgrades at the Radiological Society of North America 2016 conference and exhibition held November 27 - December 2, 2016 at McCormick Center in Chicago, Illinois.

Synapse 5- Designed with speed and functionality in mind, Synapse 5 is a next-generation, secure server-side technology that enables instant access of massive datasets, working on the most popular browsers and using less bandwidth throughout the enterprise. Advances in efficiency and ergonomics facilitate productivity and a better overall user experience. The latest design includes server-based image rendering and a zero-download viewer with browser and operating system flexibility, resulting in significant IT benefits. Integrated diagnostic breast tomosynthesis and MPR/Fusion eliminate the need for disparate workstations or separate applications to complete workflows. Synapse 5 was cleared by U.S. FDA in February 2016. Fujifilms large base of current PACS customers can take advantage of the speed of Synapse 5 through an upgrade to their current system.

Synapse VNA- Fujifilm TeraMedica's Synapse VNA is an enterprise-wide medical information and image management solution that serves as a vendor-neutral, scalable, and organizationally aware storage and distribution system for DICOM and non-DICOM objects. Fujifilm has uniquely leveraged our broad imaging domain experience in areas like point of care ultrasound, endoscopy, cardiology, radiology and digital imaging to offer a comprehensive Enterprise Imaging suite. Specifically, Synapse VNA enables secure access, management, distribution and visualization of DICOM and non-DICOM images and clinical data from any departmental system. Synapse VNA is unique in its multiple methods of EHR patient associated content capture and its ability to store content in its native format.
