TNDV Acquires Sony HDC-4300 Cameras

--

Mobile production specialist TNDV: Television has set itself apart from many of its competitors through its a la carte approach to each project based on customer requests and technical requirements. Following recent purchases of high-end switching and audio production gear, TNDV has acquired a full complement of Sony HDC-4300 cameras that are immediately available on Exclamation, its flagship 53-foot, double-expando 3G/4K mobile truck.

With its three 2/3-inch 4K imaging sensors and high dynamic range (HDR), the Sony HDC-4300 received a Technical & Engineering Emmy Award in 2016 for innovative technical achievement. After carefully evaluating market trends, TNDV President and Owner Nic Dugger invested in the HDC-4300 as the camera is now considered the gold standard for live multi-camera 4K-production, especially for high-profile sports, entertainment and special events. For the 11-time Emmy Award winning TNDV, that makes Sony a perfect complement to the high-end Hitachi and Panasonic cameras that have long been used in TNDV productions.

As we continue to grow our fleet at TNDV, it's important that we have a wider array of technology that meet the exacting needs of each production, said Dugger. While we remain loyal to the brands that have and continue to serve our customers extremely well, every project and customer is unique. It's important for our customers to know that we continue to add the latest, best-in-class systems they're seeking. And it makes perfect sense that we have those very high-end options for our biggest trucks, and very large-scale live productions.

Since this camera offers the same familiar user interface as other popular Sony broadcast cameras, it's easier for freelance camera operators to get up to speed. And the high-bandwidth 4K-resolution imagery helps producers keep their content evergreen, while giving editors more creative options for re-framing and color correcting shots, and other post finishing.

At TNDV, Dugger said, We pride ourselves on providing a wide assortment of production gear to custom-tailor equipment packages to the needs of any job. By expanding our camera inventory with the 4300's,' we've put into place the final piece that outfits Exclamation with the top-of-the-line gear that many broadcasters and production professionals demand.
