CARDINAL DVM Loudspeakers

(18/12/2013) The new loudspeakers from German manufacturer CARDINAL DVM cover most applications in the daily installation business. A special emphasis was placed on high-grade wooden cabinets, an optimised driver selection and crossover design plus good accessories. All loudspeakers can be used directly on the amplifier without a controller. With only three different performance types a very large range of applications can be covered, no matter if for retail or catering installations, community halls or lecture theatres, school halls, a live club or conference and seminar rooms.

All models are 100% made in Germany and meet the CARDINAL DVM typical high quality standards.

Owing to the compact enclosures with its multitude of integrated mounting points, the available accessories and the optional lacquer finish in the required custom RAL colour a trouble-free and unobtrusive mounting is ensured.

The DVM-SP06C flush-mount 6.5 ceiling loudspeaker is equipped with a 6.5 coaxial driver with a damp-resistant cone. The housing is suitable for installation in suspended ceilings of any material. Fitting into circular ceiling cutouts is done by a practical SNAP-IN technology. The solid protective grille is attached fast and easily via bayonet lock. The loudspeaker meets the requirements of the Germanischer Lloyd and may be used within a temperature range from -40 to +80 C.

The low-Z version (impedance 8 ) can handle up to 70 W and produces a sound pressure level of 90 dB 1 W/1 m. The 100 V version offers several transformer taps (5, 10, 20 W).

The DVM-SP0501 compact loudspeaker is equipped with a powerful 5.25 low-mid driver and a 1 HF horn driver combination. The high power handling of 300 W with a maximum sound pressure level of 120 dB and the very good speech reproduction make it a universal tool for small to medium-sized PA applications. Its 16 impedance allows to put several speakers in parallel without overburdening the amplifier.

The enclosure of the lightweight loudspeaker (only 3.6 kg) has 8 x M8 flying points and also an M10 thread for fitting the optional DVM-SP05-AS speaker stand flange adapter. The available accessories (frame, wall holder, tripod adapter) and the ultra compact design always ensure an unobtrusive installation in the various fields of application.

Optionally the loudspeaker is also available with a 100 V transformer for ELA applications.

The DVM-SP4601 column universal speaker is equipped with four 6.5 cone drivers and one 1 HF driver on a radial horn and convinces by its accurate directivity, great sound quality, very high sound pressure level and easy assembly. Hereby an excellent speech intelligibility is achieved, even in larger or acoustically critical rooms. Thus the loudspeaker is perfectly suited for larger auditoriums or lecture theatres.

The enclosure has 8 x M8 flying points and can be mounted safely and precisely using the optional DVM-SP46-WM-WS wall holder.

With an impedance of 4 the loudspeaker can handle up to 300 W and produces a maximum sound pressure level of 129 dB.
