Arti enables broadcasters to deliver AR video from home
Arti, developers of the first cloud-based, no-hardware augmented reality (AR) platform for broadcasters and video producers, was recently chosen for the NVIDIA Inception program. The Inception program is a virtual accelerator designed to nurture startups transforming industries with advancements in AI and data science. Arti is like an AR studio that fits in your pocket. Unlike traditional AR solutions that require on-premise hardware and are designed to be used by dedicated AR design teams in a studio, Arti is a software-only, cloud-based AR platform that can be used anywhere.
With Arti, all you need is a camera, a laptop, and an internet connection to create engaging AR videos that can include embedded 2D and 3D objects, Twitter feeds, web browsers, and more. Examples are available on Arti's YouTube channel.

Using Arti's Intuitive UI, both experienced AR designers and amateurs can add, create or import 2D and 3D content and add it to their video in a matter of seconds. Because it's cloud-based, Arti creates exciting new opportunities to tell engaging stories with AR and data on-location, at live events, in-studio-everywhere.
Earlier this year, Arti raised $4M in a seed investment round led by Axon Ventures, with participation by other investors. As Arik Czerniak, General Partner at Axon Ventures noted in the funding announcement: The Arti team understands storytelling and the power of combining AR into video. They see how the traditional in-studio approach to AR constrains content developers, slows them down, and costs them money.
The vision for the Arti platform is to become the standard AR for video-a hardware-free, cloud-based approach that's flexible and easy-to-use, so broadcasters and other video content providers can deliver the magic of AR storytelling from anywhere, Czerniak continued.
