nangu.TV is a highly successful interactive media platform for traditional and new internet service providers that enables the delivery of television and video content including advanced, value added services. International launch:

HD GUI: nangu.TV will unveil its new HD interface that provides users with a stylish and sophisticated design. Based on feedback by customers the new GUI further enhances usability of the platform by providing a simple navigation process.

Recommendation Engine: More and more viewers rely on discussions with friends or previous viewing patterns when selecting movies and TV programmes. With so much content available how do viewers know they're getting the most from what's there? The nangu.TV Recommendation Engine addresses this issue by providing a simple way for viewers to access relevant content thereby giving advertisers a targeted approach. Incorporated into the nangu.TV app, available for download via the App Store or Google Play, the company's Recommendation Engine enables viewers watching content powered by the nangu.TV platform to receive recommendations based on previous viewing habits and established patterns.

Remote control: Using the nangu.TV app, it's now possible for consumers to control their TV using a tablet or smartphone device. This remote application enables simple browse capability with on/off, play, pause, start over and volume adjustment. Pop-up push notifications on the second screen alert the user that content is starting and a single click plays it on the TV via the set-top box. The search optimisation is highly advanced enabling filtering based on chosen criteria. Users can search, record, bookmark or play content on the TV freeing up the second device.

Multi-screen: With the integration of apps on mobile, tablet and smart TVs, watching OTT content across multi-screen devices has never been easier. Using the nangu.TV app users simply download the application and access content on the platform using the pin number provided by their operator.

Time shift TV/Catch up TV: The nangu.TV platform enables users to go back in time and watch content that's already been broadcast without setting up a record request.

OTT: nangu.TV's Media Platform goes much further than traditional IPTV systems allowing the user to deliver content over any internet connection. Because of its seamless adaptive streaming functionality it frequently checks the connection type and speed for both linear and non-linear content and adapts accordingly for quality optimisation. The platform allows ISP, cable, mobile and hospitality TV service providers to deliver value-add additional features including: non-linear TV, VoD, triple- screen, hybrid boxes and mobile applications.
