Families confirmed for brand-new W series Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over USA

Wednesday 14 December 2022 Three new US based families have been confirmed for the brand-new UKTV Original series Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over USA. The hit series, produced by Firecracker Films, will air on W in February.

Stacey Dooley said:

I love filming with all families, but I think theres a slightly different dynamic when you go to America. I find Americans are much more willing to tell you exactly what they think, as they self-edit less and theyre less concerned about how theyre going to come across. They are a lot more up front, which is a gift of course when youre making a documentary.

This series will see Stacey Dooley MBE meet a variety of extraordinary families in the USA. She will be lifting the lid on more fascinating and usual lifestyles as she spends time with the following:

9-Year-Old GunTuber - Autumn picked up her first gun at the age of 2. Now, at just 9 years old she has 36 guns of her own and a dedicated YouTube channel. Here she reviews and tests out semi-automatic weapons for her 200,000 subscribers.

Dad Randy and Mum Lindsay live their life on the road, moving from state to state in their RV. They only settle in states with relaxed gun laws so they can practice Autumns passion unhindered. Stacey meets the family in Oklahoma where they have bought a plot of land to clear for Autumns own shooting range.

Transgender Mum and Dad - Mya was born as a man and Kennedy as a woman, the couple fell in love 12 years ago. Kennedy gave birth to their two boys aged 11 and 9 and shortly after transitioned to a man. At around the same time Mya also transitioned, to a woman.

Stacey travels to their home in Virginia to find out how this unique family unit adapted to such a seismic shift. Its incredibly rare for both members of a couple to transition, yet alone stay together so Stacey wants to find out what has changed in their relationship and their roles as a mother and father. In a revealing and enlightening journey, Stacey gets to the heart of what matters to a family in 2022 and discovers that love really does have no barriers.

37 Year Age Gap Lovers - After a whirlwind romance Quran, 24 and Cheryl, 61 married in September last year. Brought together by a love of dancing, an online video of them went viral and they soon fell in love. Now they make TikTok videos for a living and have amassed 1.5 million followers, but not all the feedback is positive.

An interracial couple with a 37-year age gap living in the southern state of Georgia has triggered a wave of hate. Cheryl cannot bear to look at the negative comments left on her videos but the increased engagement they get due to the controversial nature of their relationship amounts to increased profit. Stacey travels to meet the couple and soon discovers that they have pushed the boundaries even further and are producing adult content for paid subscribers.
