La serie muestra la investigaci n que Coronell public en columnas en la revista Semana y al mismo tiempo cuenta la historia de un periodista que re ne las piezas de un rompecabezas, incluyendo algunas pruebas in ditas, que presentan el caso del expresidente Uribe como nunca antes.
Es tambi n un diario de investigaci n del reportero que fue descubriendo y entregando pruebas que hicieron posible que el caso haya avanzado hasta donde se encuentra el proceso , explica Coronell. El compromiso que tiene el periodismo es hacer el primer borrador de la historia. Yo tengo que esforzarme porque ese borrador quede bien hecho.
