Showmax's Mommy Club released a new episode, causing a social media frenzy around Mpumi' Mrs Mops' Mophatlane and Tshego Manche, with Twitter users sharing their thoughts on the lack of authenticity in the show.

MOMMY CLUB: BRING ON THE DRAMA! Showmax's hit series, Mommy Club, delivered another drama-filled episode this Tuesday, 11 July. Viewers were left with excitement and opinions as social media lit up with discussions. The latest episode started on a heartwarming note, featuring Mpumi Mrs. Mops' Mophatlane bonding with her children. Setting a warm tone for what was to come.
The episode's highlight was a meetup between Mpumi and Tshego Manche, better known as Ms. Manche. They discussed recent events, including the tense confrontation between Ms. Manche and Her Majesty.

The source of the conflict emerged from Her Majesty's comment at Nunurai's son's party. She had referred to Ms. Manche's five-year-old son as wild.' Naturally, Ms. Manche was upset. She sought solace in sharing her frustrations with Mrs Mops, who didn't hesitate to question whether Ms. Manche's son displayed any type of wild behaviour at the party.
MOMMY CLUB SETS TWITTER ABLAZE The episode's drama didn't end on the screen; it spilt over onto Twitter. Entertainment commentator Phil Mphela started voicing his thoughts on the show. Phil minced no words, claiming that Mommy Club lacked authenticity. Phil suggested a revamp for the series, urging the show's creators to give the characters more depth, and expand their lives on camera.

One thing #RHODurban does so well is that there is a clear story arc for the ladies for each season.
Reality TV like any tv show is about storytelling. You need the audience to connect with cast as characters and have pay-offs for situations. #TheMommyClub misses this!

Fans want more authenticity from the Mommy Club. I noticed it was stage when she pretended to leave, but waited for Mrs Mops downstairs. Like, why would you wait for the very person who upset you to the point of leaving to come explain themselves ? And then she pretended to be making a phone call and completely forgot it
