En el tercer trimestre de 2018, los ingresos de los retail services (6.083 millones de euros) cayeron un 1,3% respecto a los del mismo periodo de 2017 seg n los datos estad sticos de la Comisi n Nacional de los Mercados y la Competencia.
El grupo Masmov!l aument sus ingresos minoristas un 17,4% en tasa interanual y represent el 6% del total. Movistar mantuvo su nivel de ingresos y aument ligeramente su cuota hasta el 43%, mientras que Vodafone y Orange perdieron cuota de mercado. Los tres principales operadores de telecomunicaciones coparon el 79,8% de los ingresos minoristas del sector, porcentaje algo inferior al 80,5% del mismo periodo de 2017.

Un 62,5% de estas l neas ten a una velocidad contratada de 100 Mbps o m s.
En septiembre de 2018, el 89,4% de las l neas de banda ancha fija pertenec an a los three main operators, 2,8 puntos porcentuales menos que hace un a o.
Si nos fijamos en las l neas m viles (que sumaron 54 millones) el 79,1% pertenec an a los tres principales operadores frente al 81,7% de hace un a o.
El volumen total de l neas m viles que se conectaron a Internet, incluyendo las l neas exclusivas de datos, creci un 4,1% interanual hasta los 45,8 millones. El motivo fue el aumento de las l neas de voz vinculadas a banda ancha m vil, que sumaron 1,9 millones de l neas en el ltimo a o, hasta los 44,2 millones, con lo que el 81,8% de las l neas m viles se conectaron a Internet desde su terminal.
En septiembre de 2018, el total de paquetes cu druples y qu ntuples alcanz los 12,1 millones, lo que representa 645 mil paquetes m s que hace un a o. Este aumento corresponde casi en su totalidad a los paquetes qu ntuples.
