Ikegami Electronics U.S.A. Marks 50 Anniversary

Ikegami , a leader in HD cameras, monitors, and production equipment for TV broadcasters, networks, and other HD content creators, is proudly marking the 50th Anniversary of its American subsidiary, Ikegami Electronics U.S.A., Inc.

The company was established in New York City in December, 1964. Fourteen years later, in December, 1978, Ikegami Electronics U.S.A. moved to Maywood, New Jersey, where it continues to be headquartered. The companys US offices also includes locations in California, Florida, Texas, Illinois, Indiana, and Georgia.

Ikegamis USA offices have helped make the manufacturer an essential technology provider to American broadcasters and content creators. Today, Ikegami Electronics U.S.A. employs a talented team of engineers, sales professionals, and service technicians committed to providing its customers with outstanding technology and support, across all 50 states, as well as the other countries in North and South America.

In addition, Ikegami Electronics U.S.A. is honored to have been the recipient of four Emmy Awards:

1981 -- Emmy Award (Engineering Section) for development of digital computers of automatic adjustment of color studio cameras (HK-312, HK-357A).

1983 -- Emmy Award for technological development of Electronic Cinematography Camera (EC-35).

1994 -- Emmy Award (Technology Development Section) for Skin-Tone Detail, Control Edge Enhancement technology.

2010 -- Emmy Award (Technology & Engineering) for development and production of portable tapeless acquisition.
