IABM announces shortlist for 06 Design & Innovation Awards

Strong entries across the board demonstrate strong, continuing innovation

IABM today announced the shortlisted candidates for its highly-prized Design & Innovation Awards - widely regarded as some of the most coveted honors in the industry because of their truly independent, expert-driven judging. Nearly 80 entries have been received this year. After scrutiny by a panel of 40 independent industry expert judges over the coming two weeks, the final winners will be announced at the IABM Awards ceremony on Saturday 10th September at IBC.

The awards are spread across 10 categories based on IABM's recognized market segmentation as used in the IABM DC Global Market Valuation and Strategy report. An extra category has been added this year to cater for submissions that are outside this remit.

The very high quality of the entries for this year's Design & Innovation Awards shows that our industry continues to innovate at an incredible rate, said John Ive, IABM Director of Technology and Strategic Insight, and chairman of the judging panel. It has been a tough task to choose between so many excellent submissions in reaching the shortlist, and the judges will have a harder job still to select the final winners. Just making the shortlist is an accolade in itself.

The winning entries will automatically be submitted for IABM's prestigious Peter Wayne Award, with the winner announced at the IABM International Business Conference and Awards in December 2016.
