Rohde & Schwarz put its R&S CLIPSTER mastering solution into action at SERIENCAMP, Germany's TV show and culture festival. The TV shows arrive at the festival in a broad range of formats, including IMF. R&S CLIPSTER converted them into the DCP format needed for the theater screenings, ensuring high-quality and reliable playback. Munich, November 17, 2017 - The SERIENCAMP FESTIVAL takes place in Munich every October. The first festival was in 2015. SERIENCAMP offers free screenings of major productions such as The Walking Dead, Westworld and Game Of Thrones as well as new European formats and insider TV shows from around the globe. R&S CLIPSTER did more than provide the DCP format. It was also used for final quality control to verify that all files were error free and ready for screening. SERIENCAMP was held October 27 to 29, 2017 at the University of Film and Television Munich. More than 5000 guests viewed around 50 screenings. In 2017, the festival also featured the SERIENCAMP CONFERENCE, a two-day event for industry professionals.
