Object Matrix, the leading provider of object based nearline storage to the media and entertainments industries, has announced a reseller agreement with Professional Solutions Europe (PSE), a division of Sony Europe Limited.

The two companies have been working together over the past year, delivering an integrated archive solution, which combines MatrixStore from Object Matrix with Sony Optical Disc Archive.

As the media industry continues to evolve, with companies under increasing pressure to deliver more content to multiple platforms, there is a growing need for a secure, yet searchable archive, commented Robbie Fleming, Application Specialist, Sony Professional Solutions Europe. By integrating MatrixStore into our archive solution, we are able to provide our customers with instant access to archived projects or library content, as well as ensuring business continuity. The new agreement will see the resale of Object Matrix's MatrixStore with Sony Optical Disc Archive technology across Europe. Companies throughout the region will now be able to purchase a complete archive solution through Sony PSE.
