Dubai-Wuxi-Shanghai M-HUB Jingan, the First Transnational Remote Production, SMT Shows in PMGC! posted: 22/01/2021
After four days of fierce competition, from January 21st to 24th, the 4AM team and the NV-XQF team will represent the PEL Game for Peace professional league compete with 14 other foreign teams for the title of the PMGC. Based on the requirements of epidemic prevention and control, the opening ceremony of PMGC will be held in Wuxi, and the team competition will be held in Dubai. SMT goes to the stadium to realize the first transnational remote production.
In this e-sports event, a cross-city, transnational remote production method has been adopted to remotely transmit the signals from Dubai and Wuxi back to the production center of SMT M-Hub Jingan in Shanghai, and then to produce and distribute the signals.
PMGC Multi-national Remote Production
Through the dedicated line and the Haivision Hub nodes main and standby dual routes, it can achieve the remote and stable interaction of the huge video signal volume, and realize the low-latency interaction requirements of the signals that required in the three-site broadcasting process. Even in different cities or even different countries, audience can also have an immersive experience.
In the preparatory work and live broadcast process in the three places, the call is also an indispensable part. This remote call uses the more mature Voip-based public network remote call technology to connect Dubai and Wuxi calls with Shanghai to complete the low-latency dialogue requirements of the three places. It also opens up independent channels for production and technology. Whether it is the preliminary technical docking work or the process of rehearsal and live broadcast in the three places, remote calls can bring a great convenience and greatly improve the efficiency of program production.
Whether in the military pentathlon of the 7th Military World Games, that remote production has been brought into the live broadcast of multiple sports events for the first time, or in 2020, the remote production application during the LPL 9th Anniversary Celebration and LPL S10 Global Finals, SMTs continuous exploration in the field of remote production has made this technical solutions more mature, and this time it has taken a crucial step in transnational remote production.
