A comienzos del pr ximo a o, Sony lanzar el nuevo PCM-D100, un grabador lineal PCM port til con memoria flash integrada de 32 GB.
El grabador reproduce una alta calidad de sonido, espect culos en directo y en exteriores con una fidelidad cercana al sonido org nico. El PCM-D100 es ideal para espect culos musicales en directo, actuaciones teatrales y producci n electr nica de informativos.
El PCM-D100 es compatible con DSD de 1 bit y 2,8 MHz, un formato que permite la grabaci n de fuentes de sonido mediante se ales digitales, pero que se asemeja mucho a las ondas anal gicas.
Tambi n es compatible con la grabaci n y la reproducci n de audio de 192 kHz/PCM lineal de 24 bits de alta resoluci n. La unidad puede reproducir componentes musicales delicados y de rango ultra-alto, con una excelente calidad de audio de rango bajo a rango alto. Esto se consigue equipando el dispositivo con una banda de frecuencia de reproducci n amplia que supere f cilmente el intervalo de banda de 20 Hz a 25 kHz.
El grabador cuenta con un micr fono direccional altamente sensible que incorpora una nueva unidad de micr fono unidireccional de 15 mm. Esto permite al usuario ajustar el rango de captaci n de audio. La funci n de grabaci n por banda ancha, altamente sensible, muestra unas propiedades de frecuencia de hasta 40 kHz, para aprovechar al m ximo las ventajas de la grabaci n DSD.
En comparaci n con los convertidores DA de 24 bits convencionales, el PCM-D100 ha adoptado un convertidor de 32 bits de clase superior para conseguir una reproducci n del sonido m s precisa. El amplificador de los auriculares incorpora unos condensadores electroqu micos de doble capa (EDLC) de alta capacidad e impedancia ultra-baja 0,33 F (330000 F), equivalente a 750 veces la capacidad de los condensadores convencionales. Esta potencia estable mejora considerablemente la fuente de alimentaci n de los auriculares y permite que se reproduzca un audio de alta calidad incluso con mayor fidelidad.
El modo S/N 100 dB del grabador minimiza la distorsi n del sonido y el ruido interno durante la grabaci n, y tambi n reduce el ruido interno al realizar conversiones del sistema anal gico al digital aplicando un exclusivo mecanismo limitador digital que utiliza dos convertidores A/D para un solo canal. Esta funcionalidad consigue reducir el ruido con una relaci n se al-ruido de hasta 100 dB (para la grabaci n de entrada). Sony tambi n ha incorporado un limitador digital convencional para asegurar de manera constante el audio normal, as como las se ales bajas de 12 dB. Incluso si la entrada supera los niveles m ximos, el dispositivo evita la distorsi n del sonido ajustando autom ticamente el nivel ptimo.
Este dispositivo es capaz de grabar de manera continua sonidos y texturas verdaderamente perfeccionados, exactamente como se oyen en la realidad y durante largos periodos de tiempo. El grabador funciona durante aproximadamente 6 horas y 35 minutos al grabar en PCM lineal (192 kHz/24 bits), o durante aproximadamente 10 horas y 50 minutos en DSD (2,8 MHz/1 bit). La memoria del dispositivo tambi n puede ampliarse con la adici n de una memoria externa; las grabaciones de audio pueden almacenarse directamente en esta memoria externa.
