Michael Buchman, the current Crew Chief of the Concert Hall, the largest venue at the Kennedy Center, has been witness to this evolution firsthand. Michael specifically highlights the significance of FreeSpeak II in his weekly routines, particularly during high-profile events like symphony performances where he s required to wear a suit. The recent installation of over a dozen FreeSpeak II beltpacks in the Concert Hall at the Kennedy Center has significantly enhanced communication capabilities. However, it s important to note that across the entire venue, there are approximately 95 beltpacks in operation. This extensive network ensures seamless coordination among production teams during every performance, supporting the highest standards of excellence.
