Telecinco Cinema ha culminado 2017 con un doble triunfo al frente del cine espa ol, logrando liderar por cuarto curso consecutivo la cuota de mercado nacional con sus cuatro lanzamientos en salas, que han sido a su vez las cuatro pel culas espa olas m s vistas y m s taquilleras del a o.
La recaudaci n global conseguida por Tadeo Jones 2. The secret of King Midas, Perfectos Desconocidos, Is for your sake and The secret of Marrowbone se ha traducido en el 47,7% de cuota sobre los 100,2 millones de taquilla total alcanzada por los 188 estrenos espa oles del a o. Adem s, los cuatro filmes han logrado llevar a las salas de cine a un acumulado de 8 millones de espectadores.
Atresmedia Cine, con 10 estrenos en 2017, se ha situado en el 29,2% de cuota de mercado y 4,8 millones de espectadores. Por ltimo, RTVE, con m s de 25 proyectos, ha alcanzado el 15,3% de cuota y 2,6 millones de espectadores.
La segunda parte de la saga protagonizada por el particular aventurero, Tadeo Jones 2. The secret of King Midas, ha seguido la senda del xito de la primera entrega y ha finalizado el a o como la pel cula espa ola m s taquillera y m s vista. Dirigida por Enrique Gato y David Alonso, ha alcanzado los 17,9 millones en taquilla y los 3,2 millones de espectadores, logrando superar en este apartado por casi 500.000 espectadores a su predecesora, The adventures of Tadeo Jones (casi 2,8 millones de espectadores). El filme, nominado al Goya a la Mejor Pel cula de Animaci n, se ha situado adem s en el tercer lugar del ranking global de recaudaci n tras La Bella y la Bestia and Gru 3. Mi villano favorito.
A pesar de haber llegado a las salas de cine en el ltimo mes del a o (1 de diciembre), la pel cula dirigida por lex de la Iglesia, Perfect strangers se ha situado en la segunda posici n del ranking del cine espa ol tras sumar 13 millones de recaudaci n y superar los 2 millones de espectadores a 31 de diciembre. Adem s, ha logrado situarse en el Top 10 del ranking de pel culas nacionales e internacionales m s taquilleras del a o, ocupando el noveno lugar a cierre de 2017.
El filme ha continuado en 2018 su excelente trayectoria en salas de cine y tras siete semanas en cartel ha vuelto a situarse en el n mero 1 de taquilla el pasado fin de semana. Actualmente acumula un total de 16,7 millones y 2,6 millones de espectadores.
Estrenada el pasado mes de febrero, la comedia Is for your sake, dirigida por Carlos Ther n, se ha mantenido entre las pel culas m s vistas y con mayor recaudaci n, situ ndose en la tercera posici n con 9,5 millones y 1,6 millones de espectadores.
Telecinco Cinema ha cerrado su p ker de exitosos estrenos con The secret of Marrowbone, pera prima de Sergio G. S nchez, nominado al Goya a la Mejor Direcci n Novel, conquistando la cuarta posici n del ranking de recaudaci n con 7,3 millones y 1,2 millones de espectadores.

Antes de este reconocimiento, tambi n se situ como la productora l der en 2014, con un 60% de la cuota de mercado tras llevar a las salas el fen meno Ocho apellidos vascos, El Ni o, Carmina y Am n and Perdona si te llamo amor; en 2015, tras lograr un 49,9% de cuota con Ocho apellidos catalanes, Atrapa la bandera y Regresi n; y en 2016, a o en el que alcanz el 42,8% de cuota de mercado con Un monstruo viene a verme, Cien a os de perd n, Kiki, el amor se hace y el documental Omega sobre la grabaci n del m tico disco de Enrique Morente.
