Disney Channel presents new and upcoming shows --

The second season of the tele-novella Violetta, which kicks off on 25 August at 16h10, and the premiere of the animated one-hour movie Star Wars Rebels: Spark of Rebellion, which takes place on 11 October at 09h20, feature on Disney XD (DStv channel 304).
The Star Wars Rebels: Spark of Rebellion movie precedes the airing of the Star Wars Rebels series, which features on Saturday mornings, beginning on 18 October at 09h20.
Star Wars Rebels: Spark of Rebellion is set between the events of Star Wars Episodes III and IV and tells the story of the starship Ghost crew who face threatening new villains, encounter colourful opponents, embark on adventures and become heroes when they take a stand against the Empire.
Created by Dave Filoni (Star Wars: The Clone Wars), Simon Kinberg (X-Men: Days of Future Past), and Carrie Beck, the series features the voices of Freddie Prinze Jr., Vanessa Marshall, Steve Blum, Tiya Sircar, Taylor Gray, David Oyelowo and Jason Isaacs.

The second season of Violetta airs every weekday and will reunite Violetta and her friends at Studio 21. The season is filled with music, dance, new characters, love stories and some new challenges for Violetta, who is set to shine on stage with her friends. Along the way she will have to deal with her overprotective Grandfather and Ludmila, who will do whatever it takes to outdo her.
