Fans of the educational soapie Skeem Saam took to social media to react to Jacobeth Thobakgale's misery after Lizzy made her realise that she lost her money to her scammer lover Ntate Kganyago.

JACOBETH IS CRYING FOR HER MONEY AND LOST LOVER' The Skeem Saam fan-favourite character Jacobeth Thobakgale couldn't stop crying when it finally hit her that Ntate Kganyago isn't as innocent as he pretended to be and that he stole her money (R500 000).

Kganyago convinced Jacobeth to invest half a million rand into a scam, proposed marriage to her, and convinced her to turn her back on his daughter Elizabeth after she found out he was trying to scam her mother.

Viewers of the soapie are sympathetic towards Elizabeth's mother after she apologised to her daughter, who was kidnapped and drugged by her lover's accomplice Luc.
