ITN PRODUCTIONS TO PRODUCE MOTOR MORPHERS FOR CHANNEL 5Channel 5 has commissioned ITN Productions to produce Motor Morphers, a new four-part series where two teams of engineers transform perfectly formed utility vehicles into something capable of doing a completely different job.
Motor Morphers will see The Gadget Show's Jason Bradbury set the two teams a task of how their morphed' vehicles will be put to the test in a head-to-head challenge. Both teams comprise engineers from all backgrounds aerospace, mechanical and navel engineering who could be turning a fire engine into a tree felling machine one week or a concrete mixer into a cargo boat in the next episode.
Each episode follows the trials and tribulations of the two teams as they compete against the clock to design a new invention, break down the old vehicle, test their ideas and create the new machine. Along the way, viewers will see the inside workings of machines, all manner of blue sky thinking and feats of engineering, as well as team-work and tensions. Following four days' hard graft, Bradbury then gathers the teams and their contraptions for the big challenge to see if the creations can complete the set task before deciding which team will be named that week's winners.

Motor Morphers is currently set to air on Channel 5 in 2013.
