Following a two-year hiatus, South African rock star Francois van Coke's Francois van Coke & Vriende returns to the SunBet Arena at Time Square, Pretoria. The concert is set to take place on Sunday 25 September and the likes of Spoegwolf, Die Heuwels Fantasies and Jack Parow are set to perform.

FRANCOIS VAN COKE & VRIENDE RETURNS TO PRETORIA After a successful show in 2019, Francois van Coke is bringing together old and new friends for his Francois van Coke & Vriende concert on 25 September.

Van Coke is set to release his fourth solo album Kanniedood on Friday 23 September, which makes this his most exciting album launch to date.

Other artists hitting the stage include Early B, Fokofpolisiekar, Laudo Liebenberg, Van Pletzen, Hunter Kennedy, Tasch and Elandr .

-- WHAT WILL FRANCOIS VAN COKE BE PERFORMING? The two-hour Francois van Coke & Vriende concert will be packed with van Coke's most popular tracks and rock hits with Die Vriende. The multi-talented star will also perform his latest single Maak Wakker featuring Elandr .

Maak Wakker is about going through hard times, overcoming adversity and a message to myself not to give up, said van Coke.

The two musicians first crossed paths at an airport, after Elandr 's viral cover of Tougher than the Rest.

After that, we saw each other at festivals. I always thought that there was something unique about him, said van Coke.
