Sequoia Technology, a leading provider of GSM GPRS modules and Wireless M2M Terminals, are pleased to announce the launch of the new ZETA family of Wireless Terminals. The familiar names of the SQ864E-GPRS and SQ864E-3G terminals have been replaced with the new family of ZETA branded terminals and are ready for immediate despatch.
The ZETA family was born as a result of customer feedback and the desire to make a feature rich terminal which would appeal to the mass markets. The ZETA terminals are powered by the same trusted Switched Mode Power Supply (SMPS) which greatly reduces high power/heat dissipation compared to the normal linear regulation. This makes the ZETA family of terminals extremely efficient while maintaining very high performance standards.
First in the range is the ZETA-N-GPRS. Our flagship terminal offers a high level of GSM GPRS functions in compact plug and play housing with a host of interfaces that allow you to easily incorporate with your system. Together with its small size and advanced set of features in integrates perfectly into a wide range of M2M applications. All of our terminals are built to be robust and able to function without disruption in environments subjected to vibration, humidity etc.
Also available is the ZETA-N-3G. This is our 3G terminal and allows you to communicate to your equipment with CSD and GPRS data services provided by the network operators. Incorporating Quad Band GPRS Class 10 technology the ZETA-N-3G operates around the globe and with an extended temperature range can be used in harsh environments. The single band 2100MHz UMTS band operates across Europe and on several networks around the globe providing connection speeds up to 7Mbps.
The Zeta Range is particularly suitable for automotive applications, PoE (Power over Ethernet), industrial telemetry solutions and data logging just to name a few. Further enhancements in the future include GPS capability,CDMA and LTE versions. Watch this space!
