Channel 4 has commissioned ITN Productions' Sport division to make two 1x60min highlights shows to showcase the best of the World Para Athletics European Championships in Berlin and the World Para Swimming Allianz European Championships in Dublin this summer.
Both shows will be hosted by British TV presenter Sophie Morgan, after the completion of the competitions, bringing together expert pundits from different disciplines as well as showing the most dramatic elements of the competition. The programmes will also incorporate interviews and user generated content from athletes themselves.
The shows will provide a summary of both events in two separate programmes broadcast on Sunday mornings.
The World Para Swimming Allianz European Championships is hosted in Dublin from 13-19 August and the hour-long highlights show will broadcast on August 26 at 8.30am.
The Berlin World Para Athletics European Championships takes place from 20-26 August with the one-hour highlights show to tx on September 2 at 8.30am.
