Nomad is a remote editing utility included free with all new EVO workflow servers. As media is added to the system, EVO automatically transcodes it in the background, creating lightweight proxy files. Nomad can read any Adobe Premiere Pro project and retrieve the relevant proxy or source media from that project, facilitating a simple solution for Premiere Pro proxy editing. Creatives can edit the proxies in Premiere Pro offline, then sync back to the full-resolution video files for final render and conform over SNS VPN.

Remotely connecting to the server via a VPN lets users activate Nomad for Premiere Pro proxy editing; tag, comment, and preview their entire media library with ShareBrowser media asset management; and schedule automated media backups and replication jobs with Slingshot. The cloud-hosted SNS VPN service can be deployed quickly without major changes to existing IT infrastructure or firewalls.
