ATTO Technology Announces Availability of 12Gb ExpressSAS Host Bus Adapters; Now Shipping Representing the latest advancement in SAS technology Amherst, NY (May 1, 2014) - ATTO Technology, Inc., a global leader of storage, network connectivity and infrastructure solutions for data-intensive computing environments for more than 25 years, today announced its 12Gb ExpressSAS SAS/SATA Host Bus Adapter (HBA) will begin shipping on Friday, May 2.
The latest addition to the ExpressSAS family, the 12Gb SAS/SATA HBA provides users with fast and reliable storage connectivity while enabling scalability for next generation platforms and infrastructures. Optimized for extremely low latency and high-bandwidth data transfer, ATTOs wide variety of port configurations and RAID levels offer flexibility and reliability for the most demanding applications.
The much anticipated 12Gb ExpressSAS HBA supplements the industrys broadest portfolio of storage and network connectivity solutions, said Wayne Arvidson, vice president of marketing and channels at ATTO Technology, Inc. Representing the latest advances in SAS technology, ATTOs new 12Gb HBAs offer 8 or 16 port configurations, providing up to 1,200 MB/s per port. In addition, this product features the breakthrough in storage availability and performance, ATTOs Advanced Data Streaming (ADS ) technology. ADS latency management technology, which is built into every ATTO HBA and RAID controller, provides the fastest, most consistent time - to - data, delivering the best-in-industry aggregate bandwidth and predictable data transfers for high performance applications.
