Bitmovin and Akamai Support NRJ Groups Deployment of Akamai Adaptive Media Player 2

Bitmovin and Akamai have announced a collaboration with NRJ Group, a French multimedia company, to migrate its mobile and web streaming services to Akamai Adaptive Media Player 2 (AMP2). NRJ Group is the first net new customer to deploy AMP2.

AMP2 is powered by Bitmovin's Player, Observability, and Stream Lab technologies combined with Akamai's CDN infrastructure. The platform integrates player, analytics, testing, and CDN delivery into a managed end-to-end solution.

The combination of Bitmovin's advanced playback and analytics technology with Akamai's distributed cloud and CDN creates a uniquely powerful and scalable media player. NRJ's successful deployment of the Akamai Adaptive Media Player 2 represents a strong validation of the player's ability to support demanding, large-scale media environments, says Stefan Lederer, Co-CEO, Bitmovin.
